Please arrive at camp with plenty of time to check in. Upon arrival, check in at the Tahquitz Pines Office and someone will direct you to your accommodations for your specific group. (If your Team Leader will be arriving later than your group's check in time, due to some unforeseen circumstance, please call the Tahquitz Office by 5pm.)
Bring casual clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, and the following:
Tahquitz Pines is located at 6,000 ft.
Meals are cafeteria style and are served at the Frost Dining Hall. Our typical schedule as follows:
Breakfast - 8am
Lunch - 12pm
Dinner - 6pm
*All times are subject to change. If we aren’t serving a meal to a group on Friday night, then the kitchen is closed and we do not provide a dinner meal. In that case, you should eat before you arrive, and there are many restaurants located in Idyllwild just one mile away.
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, assorted fruits & cereals, oatmeal, juices, waffles, pancakes
Lunch: Taco salad, assorted sandwiches, pizza, hamburgers/hot dogs, etc.
Dinner: Tri-Tip (or chicken, or pork loin) with potatoes, vegetables & salad, special desserts (ice cream, pie, etc.)
Sorry, we can’t allow pets, regardless of how well-behaved they are.
Yes! If you want to swim, be sure to bring your bathing suit and a large beach towel with you. The pool is available to all of our guests ONLY when a Lifeguard is on duty. Contact Guest Relations or our Program Manager to make a reservation for this activity.
We have a large gathering place for sitting around the fire located in our upper camp. Special arrangements MUST be made when your group is registering to reserve this area. Contact Guest Relations or our Program Manager to make a reservation for this activity.
Parking is limited. Please try to carpool or provide some type of group transportation.
All special arrangements or changes to the “normal” schedule must be communicated to our Guest Relations as soon as possible.
